i gots a problem :(
Heres the deal. i was doing the dome light wallmart mod that jimbomb did. except instead of a dummy bulb we took out the dome fixture and used alligator clips to run the power to the board. it worked fine on a 9v battery and worked in the car. but as we were placing it all together the lights just went out. we rechecked em and noticed the map, trunk lights went off too. and would not turn on. the car starts and headlights work but no ineterior lights. we found the two fues boxes but have no idea which do which. can someone help me (and dad) out? the LEDs work just fine but all off a sudden the int. lights wont respond. so any help???

you blew the fuse for the dome lights.
you'd have to replace that. check your owner's manual on the location of it... or just look at the fuse panel covers which are labeled.

Put it all back together like it used to be take it to the dealer and be like "wtf?"
I hope its just a fuse and not a fried wire or a short. Check the owners manual for diagrams on the fuse box...

it shows a pic in the manual but it doesn't say which is which... i found the under driver seat and engine one. (btw how the hell u get that cover off the engine one)
also why did it blow? i tested on a 9v battery how did that blow a gigantic car's fuse

Proballly what happened was your aligator clip or clips are touching something. Those clips have alot of exposed metal & the dome light fixture is pretty close quarters... If you MUST use the aligator clip set up, then black tape them up real good except for the very tips for clipping.. make dammn sure that any metal isnt showing & touching anything in that assembly.. jh
