Yes, you need to run a wire from in the hatch to the front and then you can add a switch to trigger it. I had a custom button made years ago for it but all you need is a momentary button for it to work. It will still only work with the engine off and with in 10 seconds of the doors being unlocked, just like the outside button currently works.

Don't have any pictures of it, did this 4-5 years ago. I do remember that it needs a positive trigger wire run back, so you need to grab power up front and then run it from the switch back into the hatch.
