Yeah, I take the train to O'Hare every day for work, always see about 10 xB taxis on the way.

 

I remember at scion united (well at our hotel) they had a bunch of scion taxis going in and out of the hotel dropping people off.

 

I see them all over NY

 

Does anyone know what % of cars Scion allows for fleet sales?
I think this could affect Scion resale values.

 

Seems like a great idea for a taxi. There is no reason in this day and age to be using crown vics and the like. The back seat of the xB is huge and the car is low priced, not to mention the low fuel usage.

 

There is a radio cab here that is 2nd gen xb-it looks pretty cool. Kinda reminds me of an english police car.

 

In Reno they are all over. When buying mine the dealer said the cab company loves them because the cost of the XB2 and gas is equal to his payment on his Crown Vics for the most part. With gas prices that may not be the case anymore, but still better on gas than the Crown Vics for sure.
