The "bug catcher" is green painters tape. It's a quick, easy way to protect your car when going on long trips on the highway. You literally just tape it all over the front of your car and it peels right off in 10 seconds. It does a great job against bugs and even small rock chips.

 

wow its actually a bug catcher, i saw the painters tape and assumed you were gonna paint something. My car is an everyday driver no point in trying to protect it from bugs and rocks in the city

 

how much did the headrest screens run you, if you dont mind me asking. Are those the ones from Scion

 

i just got back from a 2000 mile road trip so thats why the painters tape is on there. Served its purpose and little to no bug crap and paint chips

and for the headrest, I bought that through scion and however much its listed on there site, thats how much it cost (i know it cost a grip)

 

i'm going to LA this weekend, i'm gonna try your tape idea since i don't have a clear bra yet..i like your rims, they're clean

 

Dupli-Color sells a spray-on temp bra. I think the tape is cheaper and will protect better though

 

Hey, why not just use clear contact paper? It's low adhesian and comes in bigger strips that you can cut.

I've been using contact paper and everyone thinks I'm crazy. I can't imagine what they think when they see the lime green! hahaha, but I think it's a good idea! Not just for bugs, but keeps stone chips from happening.

 

the lime green is visibile to the bugs too. Once they see it, they know the consequences
