Default Operation DropBox

I had some free time in the shop today so i installed my Eibachs and aligned the box.

the rear springs took all of about 5 mins to install. i just used a tranny jack to hold up the axle while i unbolted the shocks to take the springs out. the fronts werent too bad either. the worst part was getting at the strut tower nuts cuz theyre under the cowel.

now aligning it sucked. our hunter aligner didnt have the specs for any 08 toyotas or scions. so i had to call the dealer and wait for them to look them up. but once i got them i still couldnt get the caster set right because the rear is dropped more then the front. its only about .02 degrees off spec. wich i guess i can live with. my camber stayed good because i marked where i pulled the strut out from.

besides that it was very easy, anyone with a spring compressor, and impact gun and basic hand tools and do this in they're driveway. you would have to take in in to get aligned but thats no big deal.

now it took me 4 hours to install the kit and align it, but im pretty expirence with this stuff. i think anyone that is mechanicly inclined could do this.

check it out:

Your box looks real good, I even like the pin stripe. When I installed the rear springs on mine, I had a heck of a time taking out the rear springs and took me about an hour... You are the man!
