Others disagree. Like the ones who'd like to go on a road trip with 2 or 3 buds and have enough room for a few days worth of clothes.
i definitely disagree with that. i moved from california to texas in 05 to join a signed band. i had so much equipment in my car and another person. there is already more than enough rooom in our 1st Gen xB's. But like i have already stated, bigger IS better... right??

For one passenger and the equipment? Yeah, plenty. Add just one more passenger, and things get very tight very quickly.

I think I blocked them from memory.

BTW, 80% of parents spank, so either your assumptions are wrong, or 80% of the country are alcoholics, super religious, or a combination of the two.

To rag on the people ragging on the nexGen B, regardless of what they currently drive. It has since turned into threadjacking version 3.0.

I was thinking that myself. Maybe Frosty will come to this thread...

The issue with this thread is everybody has to have the last word in an argument or political conversation.. so it's pretty much never gonna end. May as well close this thread and start a new one so people can have their political discussion somewhere else besides the xB2 crybaby thread.

But my two cents on the xB2...

First time I saw it: wtf is this!?
Second time: Ugh, it's so ugly.
Third: What were they thinking...

Keep staring at it..

By end of day.. it was starting to grow on me and now I'm over not liking it and I think it's fine. Just a little.. different than what people were expecting (but then it wouldn't be the xB2, right?) That's all.

Dave, not cool man. Dont be ignorant.

I have lived in a lot of places & you would be surprised how many cities in the south are not backwards hick towns like you might think.

Nashville & Knoxville TN are cool & are filled with educated people. Charleston SC, Richmond VA, and even all the way down to Key West FL have culture & open minded people.

What were we talking about again?? Oh, yeah. The new xB sucks.
I.m just saying the vast majority of southerners are "ignornant" imo, as the vast majority of americans are. But people down south are much more so, because of their crazy religious convictions. there are smart people everywhere, they're just hard to find, and even harder to find in the south.

I guess I've lived in the smartest state, and stupidest state, maybe i haven't seen much of a middle, but i know AL,MS,OK,LS are all abuot the same, if not less diverse. I was just in texas visiting my dad there over the holidays. While it has changed in the last 10+ years since i was there last, it's still just more of the same stupidity.

There were churches bigger than malls EVERYWHERE there that cost millions of dollars to build, built so their followers can "worship in style" instead of using that money to provide for the hungry and needy. Ignorant. period. (i guess they're not quite the 170 million catholic church in L.A., ubt close though)

I saw parents there hitting and spanking the **** uot of their kids in public. In an educated state, that parent would get the beat down by a random stranger. I'd love to do it myself. (and yes I am a father myself). That kind of mentality that it's ok to hit kids only comes from the super religious and alcoholics.

and the unwritten rule of texas, that most people don't like to admit:
It's "ok" to be separatist and "bad" to be racist.
and being openly ___? good lord. I remember 1 kid in my 5,000 kid highschool (5A) that tried to be open. i can't count the number of times that kid was beaten up.

Again, Austin is not texas. so i don't mean austin or people from austin.
You show your own ignorance by stereotyping people based on the region they live in.

That's what you see in the suburbs of every city that is growing. Texas, Arizona, Colorado, etc. It has nothing to do with stupidity, all to do with "we're building 5 zillion new houses as cheap as we can and those people need to shop and eat." The places you don't see that are dying. I'm not saying it's good, that's just how it is.

Just read the entire thread, and as a "post Supermod", I could have only hoped for a thread like this during the administration in power when I was redirecting "stuff" as in the "stuff" meaning $#!+ (since we can't say $#!+).

Really enjoyed this thread.
