Cory I hope you aren't talking about the 93-98 Supra. To this day that car looks better than probably 90% of the modern cars on the road. Plus it has the almighty 2jz engine which is a beast.

So you take out the 13b which weighs less than 200 lbs, out of an RX7, and throw in a 2JZ which has humongous power capabilities but will make the FD totally front heavy robbing it of its sweet driving characteristics that enthusiasts have grown to love.... then you have to de-tune your car because the 2JZ makes too much power or you start fabbing a V160 swap into the FD to take all the torque the FD's never experienced before..... and this because you want the power of the 2J but want the looks of the FD? thats a whole lot of work.....

personally I'm on the Supra = timeless collectible bandwagon. But I agree with you...the engine deserves to be swapped into anything. Engines forged by God himself!

but no.... personally if I were a rotary guy, I'd never swap out the rotary for something else..... it just feels wrong. If you buy an FC/FD, you get it for its high revving driving characteristics..... swapping a piston motor in just defeats the purpose of the car entirely.

There are some decent scion times on that drag race site, and its with the normal bolt ons.

I did notice everyone was running 93 octane.
