Default Road trip, 5 people plus gear, fully loaded, Holy crap!!!!!!

Took the family on a road trip in the new 09 scion xb, 4 days in Lake Tahoe, Me the wife and my two teenage girls. I dont know about your family but my wife/girls like to bring there whole closet with them, so I was kinda nervous about space so I hooked up the tow hitch box just to be safe. My wife sprung on me that my oldest was bringing a freind! WTF?? We dont have the room! I started loading the back of the car with all the bags and holly crap! it ALL fit in the back including my daughters friends stuff, I even made a little view hole for the rearview mirror. So I took off the box and away we went!. Car ran great. my average fuel use went up from 23.2 to 24.8 mpg, No problem climbing the steep grades. I thought the car was going to bottom out on the big bumps but no worries she ran like a champ the whole 600 miles. Very impressed! Great little/BIG car!
