i don't know what that guy was thinking.
?

im going to play my part in helping keep this county out of a resetion by spending every penny of it as fast as posible right back into the economy. thats part of the idea behind the tax break.
if everyone saved avery penny they ever made and never spent any of it....... well.......... this country would crash.

oh there is a need, there is a need. why? 'cause the reason he's getting so much back on his taxes is because people like me are paying them for him. the nerve of a guy making 26,000 a year coming on here bragging about a tax refund...i don't know whether to laugh or cry.

i made my point so i will be done posting in this thread. it will lead nowhere.

Your point is made. I think we all get the point that you're a judgemental, unhappy person, who blames others for their own state.

Your comparisons with your alleged income and whatnot are meaningless because there are too many variables you're not looking at...literally hundreds. That's why you're only fit to judge your own life decisions. You however, by spewing your hate, open yourself up to the judgement of your character.

I only hope you change your ways before you find yourself at the end of your life utterly alone and empty.

Some people can't help getting off topic; and once that freight train starts, it's hard to stop. (Been there, done that.)

If I actually get a check for $800, CIONIDE's gonna have some new shoes and socks!!

ok didn't comment earlier as i had to watch a show on speed channel. pinks love that show.

but back on topic of the off topic. umm if you read the tax law you might actually find yourself in a mental instute for the remainer of your life. but they have different tax breaks for a ton of different things, you might also want to look at this as a simple thing. contractors don't get taxes taken out of the money they make they do not get vacations or healthcare benefits. but if they have a good tax accountant contractors can pay the taxes they would of paid to the irs being paid by said company. that would mean come april 14th. they will most likely be getting money back if they over paid. now lets look at another way as well. you ever hear of the ability to claim 0 on your I-9 form you select on what you are taking out for taxes at the first of the year they send those w2 forms to you. well if you claim 0 and you married and have kids they will take the max amount out of your check each week or two week or month. at the end of the year you are married and have one kid or two kids. you tax breaks would be tremendous (depends on how much you make ) .

two years ago i got close to 3,000.00 back because i am single and they took more out of my check. what you get back is determend by how much you make Verses how much tax you owe verses how much taxes you paid.

go one farther on this

my boss last year made 75,000 dollars between her second buiness and the one i ran for the most part. her husband made close to 89,000. both claim 0 on the i-9 form, why do they do this. simply not having to owe at the end of the year. they got a nice chunck of change. are they poor and not able to support the family they have?? nope they got smart and have a good tax accountant.

good rule of thumb in buiness and in personal life. is have a good attorney on retainer and a good tax accountant. the accountant will keep you but out of dept and the IRS off your but. the attorney will keep you from making bad choices and keep you from having legal issues.

Now back to the real topic at hand. if i get 800 back from the IRS people. i will be spending it on my XB. since i am out of work right now it will go to the bank and sit. now if i get a job before getting said 800. i will be either getting a nav unit or getting my konig hotswaps or MRR H2 chrome at the 18 or 19 inch range and nexxan tires. probably 18 inch

^yah i know thats what i thaught.

hay Alwayspeeding, you didn't do anything wrong, don't feal bad.
only one person should feal bad about what he said and everyone let him know it, thats the only reason this got a little off topic.

i called my wheels supplier guy and worked out the price for everything. ive got a full set of 5 sportmax 501 15x7 +38 with stock tires right now, but im going with a full set of 5 sportmax 501 16x8 +15. its going to be close i may have to role the back fenders because ive also got a 15mm hub spacer back there.

would anyone be interested in my old rims.
14k on the tires (rotated every oil change) and 7k on the rims. all 5 great low price, a full size tire will fit in your spare tire spot. you just got to wait untill i get my new ones.

I've always been under the belief that getting that check/deposit for overpaying on my taxes all year long is basically like having a 0% savings account. Actually, that's not as much a belief as a fact. It would be great if they paid interest to us after keeping the extra money we pay them, but we can never expect that to happen, so it will always be a 0% savings account.

However, unless you're disciplined enough to be able to figure out how much money to really have withheld to get back $0 at the end of the year, and then actually save the remainder that would have been withheld otherwise, it's not a bad system really - new toys in the springtime are always good. Unfortunately mine goes to personal loans that were created to get us into a house at the height of the market - different story...

I would still recommend trying to go towards that exact tax rate, increase your 401(k) withholding at LEAST to the max rate that your company will match, if you are lucky enough to work for a place that does such a thing these days, and getting a good, cheap term life insurance that will benefit your family if you happen to pass. After those withholdings, no one should feel guilty about splurging with the remainder, or any tax refunds....at least that's what I'm trying to convince my wife about....

And no, I don't sell insurance. Anymore.

by doing this, claiming 0 so you can get a big refund, you are essentially giving the
government your money to hold onto for a year without them paying you interest on
it. now if someone feels they need to give the government an interest free loan that's
their business but if an accountant gives you this advice you should take their crack
pipe away and find a new one asap...

edit: ok so xBliever beat me to it, i need more coffee....
