I'm planing to change my transmission oil along with my 25k tuneup. I know that I don't need to change the transmission oil so early. Since my buddy is a Toyota tech why not have him change it, hehe.

What type of oil and weight do I need for the transmission? I'm planing on using Mobil 1 transmission synthetic oil but I don't know the weight.

Are there difference from transmission oil than engine oil?

from what i remember of its the same tranny oil as the tc (which im sure it is) its 75w90

yea 75w90 i used the royal purple,

if you dont have the pump to pump the oil back in you can take out the reverse sensor switch and fill it from uptop its like a 22mm bolt

Yes, transmission gear oil is very different from engine crankcase oil. However, that doesn't mean you have to spend the highest dollars for your transmission oil replacement. Spend time doing some research and don't settle for just asking a question on a forum!
