between our headlights and hoods...there is something in the center of the hood between the hood and the grille but nothing by the lights...today i noticed that on both sides right behind the headlights there was an abundance of snow...which caused me to worry and check my trd cai (pain in the ___ since it cold out...) it was fine but now im on the look out for something to use as a barrier between the headlight and the hood...prefferably rubber and soft with some double sided tape :p

 

hmm... i have yet to see snow under my hood

 

i got some weather stripping from the store and i'll get a pick tomorrow...im soo done with winter...

okay, who the hell am I kidding, I left Chi-town after 20 years to get away from that crap. Remember '79?

 

I haven't had snow, but I have noticed a large amount of crap gets in the engine bay(compared to other cars). After a 400 mile round trip on winter roads, my engine bay was covered with dried wet water/salt/crap. Drove me nuts cause I keep my engine bay as clean as possible. We bought my father-in-law's Pilot with 41k on it, engine bay never touched other than oil changes, and it didn't look as bad as my xB after that short trip.

 

that i have noticed. i have almost the same amount of dirt as my sisters car under the hood, and hers has 50k miles on it
