I noticed the other day above my passenger side door handle a tiny tiny tiny ding and I don't even know if it would even be repairable, IF I ever decided to get it fixed.

You can't really see it unless you look hard, and you cannot feel it at all if you run your hand over it. Almost looks like a tiny dimple in a way. In a place that a door-ding is basically out of the question, unless it was done by a monster SUV, lol.

Any clue to this? Is it possible it came like this from factory? I only ask this because you cannot feel it and how small it really is.

I just notice it because my car is like a mirror when clean, so you can tell the slightest flaws, lol.

 

LOL. Factory defect?? Hail?? Acorn?? Could have come from about anything. If it bothers you see if a paintless dent repair technician can massage it out for you. From your description of its smallness I do not think I would have a conventional repair done involving painting the door for sure.

 

Haha, I don't mean to sound THAT paranoid. I just wondered what may of caused it, being so small and stuff and being perfectly flush to the touch. Probably was a hailball or something random like that, but just interesting to me due to size and stuff.

 

ugh you have no idea... i have a tiny dent in my hood cause my friend thought it would have been cool to jump on my hood... never got it repaired cause you dont notice it unless the car is perfectly clean..

 

I just solved where it came from...

One day int the garage I ran into my car for something and the door swung open and hit my dad's car rear-view mirror (hence why it was located higher, so I ruled out door-ding).

I may get it repaired down the road sometime, but I minus well wait until I have another one or two, right? haha
