Default What to laught hard? Click here...

Today I went down to Headquarter Toyota nearby Miami, walked traight to the parts department and asked: "how much for a foglight kit for a '10 xB??" After a few minutes, the guy who was helping me looked @ the screen and with a swift comment said "I'm sorry, Scion doesn't make foglights for your vehicle...maybe you can find them aftermarket, or something..."

I love my Toyota dealer.

Will be doing my maintenance somewhere else tbh...and you should stay away from these people too!

Well they are "technically" driving lights. Real fog lights are yellow

@Rose, there is no serious difference between the 2008,2009,2010 xB's. a /salesman/tech/mechanic would be pretty stupid to miss that.

your dealer is an idiot, you need hooked on phonics!

Also, pretty sure what you found isnt a toyota LICENSED product.

All you need is some tape and a few mini mag-lites.

There have been other threads about the eBay $100 knock-offs being of low quality and breaking quickly. I'd pay the extra for the real Toyota set. ScionPartsPeople is the cheapest I know of at $186:

Here are the install instructions:

not trying to be a dick here but.. DJ.. you always make a post like "someone send me a diy" "hey where's this" "give me a link to the intake on ebay".. try searching more...

http://www.trdsparks.com/modelselect.php

you can go there, and when you pick a part, it has the install instructions.. also.. someone posted a zip file on here a while back that was almost 30mb of PDF files for the xb

back to topic

that's sad that the dealer didn't know about the fog lights.. but i also have heard bad things about the $100 ebay fogs

His only help is from Hello Kitty, and she's not so good with Scions!

Captain Butterknife is on the move... looking forward to what you pull off next Frozone.

Tape some flashlights in your bottom grille, go back to the dealer, and ask the guy if it looks good. Then hand him a paper and say look up this part number, it's for the foglights that toyota makes for my car, get down there and take those flashlights out of my grille for being so lazy and uninformed.

Wanted to do this but I guess I'll just take my business somewhere else.

Today I went to another Toyota dealership's parts department and picked the original set. When you get taken care of by someone who actually knows wth is going on is a different story. The guy who took care of me had me out the door by about 5 to 10 minutes with my order completed.

The message here is for whoever lives in the Miami are to NEVER deal with those morons in Headquarter Toyota. Just my $0.02
