Any reason why I shouldn't get DF 210s?

Default Any reason why I shouldn't get DF 210s?

Been doing a bit of research and everything i've seen thus far points me in the direction of DF 210s. I own an 08 xB currently sitting on TRD springs and while I enjoy the drop, it's time to go a bit lower. I'm really trying to slam the hell out my xB but I live in a gated community with mountains for speed bumps. Hate that ish! So slamming it is not an option for me unfortunately. I'm sure if my box could speak she'd be firmly against being slammed haha.

I see that the DF 210s give me 1.7 in the front and 2.1 in the rear. I'm gonna be throwing my wheels back on her as well, 19 x 8.5 45+ offset all around. 10 mm spacers in the rear. Any advice for me? Will I be fine running that set up with those wheels?

Should be fine with 225/35 tires.

Try it first, you can always add spacers later if you don't have any rubbing and it looks like you'll have enough room. I don't know for sure, but you may need to reverse the front fender liners where they meet the fender lip, or a mild front fender roll, with the 235 tires on the DF drop... not a big deal either way.

Only reason I wouldn't run DF210's is because they're not low.

But DFs are great daily springs.

If lowering the rear another 1/2 inch is worth the cost and trouble of changing springs to you, I say go for it. Personally, I occasionally carry rear seat passengers and/or cargo so rather than have the rear dragging and head lights pointing skyward I prefer the TRD springs. I also value handling over parking lot appearance so again, TRD is my choice. To each his own.

I suppose the Cadillac CTS-V wagon must be a real pig then since it's a 4400lb wagon? LOL

Yep I didn't go df's cause I need to carry stuff too and with my son me my wife and a cargo bay full of road trip crap it sits beautifully looks like I have df's on lol so that's all that matters I don't wanna be dragging ___ all over town with one passenger on the rear lol.

Well I'm looking for another 1/2 inch all around. I know the TRD's only lower the front 1 inch versus 1.7. With regards to carrying passengers, them passengers can get their own ride! haha. I really don't carry passengers for the most part. My xB seems to always get trashed when I do so I avoid being the driver when it's a big group. It's usually just the lady and maybe a good friend.

As far a handling, my ___ is the **** driving 63mph on the freeway all the way to the right and like 41 on a 45 on the street haha. I cruise my baby at all times. It is safe to say I don't give a ____ about handling. Not the slightest bit. If I cared about handling I woulda bought an M3.

So I guess my next question is, where do I find them for cheap? Where did you guys who have them get them?

And trust me man, I'd love to have my baby dragging ___ and kissing the pavement every time you go over a depression in the freeway roads, but the speed bumps inside my community are brutal. No way i'd get even past the first speed bump on anything lower than DF's

I always recommend hitting up any one of the vendors in our sponsored classifieds section.

They support us, and our community, so I feel it's necessary to support them and their livelyhood.

Okay then... obviously you need air suspension. Luckily you have more than enough money leftover from the $43k you saved by not buying the M3!
