Bad Wheel Bearing..

If I jack up the car and spin the wheels will I hear it? We've been hearing a tick tick tick as the wheel spins and window open sounds like it's coming from wheels. Only 5K-6K miles on car too.
Could someone please explain to me how these cars can have rear wheel bearings going at 60K or less? Or is this one of those rare statistical occurrences that someone is unfortunately going to get hit with
?
I have a low mileage tick from my left front, but it goes away as soon as I touch the brakes (returns on release) -- only hear it with the window down. Could take it apart I suppose and see if I can spot anything.
Front right just went bad at 53K. I was covered under the power train so it was free but they said the rears are only covered until 36K. I asked if it changed anything if I bought it certified pre-owned and they weren't sure (out of curiosity if it was a rear one). Mine was lowered and I was getting bad chopping on the rear tires. So I put everything back to stock, got new tires, and heard the bearing noise.
