Lookin good.

How are those rotors and pads working out? Noticeable? I was a little uncomfortable on the 5 freeway in LA last weekend during stop-n-go traffic. I felt like my brakes were fading a little bit over time. They work great when you really step on them, but normal braking leaves a little to be desired. I always felt that stopping distances should be a bit shorter with the stock brakes - not a lot, just a little bit.

Yeah, it's still questionable. The brakes are a bit disappointing. It's like a tad of a difference. The springs itself are alright too. A lil' stiff and bumpy.

Suspension doesn't beat my previous vehicle. "Honda Civic 97 coupe" Eibach springs: Smooth ride and nice drop. PowerSlot Rotors: Extreme difference. Damn, I miss those Rice rocket days.

Keep in mind that you just lost 1/2" of tire sidewall height, which is a functional part of the suspension that helps absorb bumps in the road; less sidewall = a bit more bump being transferred into the passenger compartment. When I put my NF's on with the stock tires & wheels, the rear suspension provided a noticeably better ride, not to mention the overall better handling. :D

I think I've settled on the Countersteers.

I mean, I dream of VOLKs, I fear ROTA... but the Konig seems trustworthy...

now... do I settle for the 17 so I can get my bronze...

Or do I get my 18's and settle for black...

either way. its a good looking rim!

yeah, I'm quite aware they're knock offs. I just dont see sense in spending that kinda dough on an xB. especially when I dont have it.

I mean, a G37 yeah, but my big purple fridge... I'm sure the Konigs are fine!

Well Im definitely still considering 18's after this thread and Im glad I went with DF210's lol. IDK it just looks like its still too high in these pics and I dont think I'll be happy with 17's.

well, the NF210 seems fine for me! and i actually would be fine with 17's but i understand they dont clear BigBrake kits...

and my mod plans go, in this order
rims.
Big brakes
NF210's and sway bars
and some day, supercharger...
then after that... probably nicer rims.

and during all that... I'm gonna be messing with the stereo...

...

but anyhoo, I want to get to those brakes sooner than later... the supercharger can wait a few years!

The NF210s should give a little big bigger drop then what I see in the pictures.

I'm so glad I spent the extra money and got 18" wheels...

So you want the TRD brake kit right? I wish I could get it too but its not really in the plans since it costs so much lol. I'll get the LSD before I get the BBK if I keep modding my box. I'll have sways and shocks/struts next month and wheels next spring and then I might be done lol.
