This isn't where I plan on leaving it this was just the initial install height, it'll settle a little more and then I'll raise it up about 1/2 an inch and then dial it in after I get my new shoes.
Thanks those of you who looked! K-sports are worth the $$$

So don't feel hurt that I think lowering an XB2 for performance isn't the brightest idea.
If you want looks, fine, I'm not hating. Everyone is different.
Easy tiger. purely stating my own opinion. If everybody had to start a new thread everytime they had a difference of opinion from the thread starter, the internet would blow up. I mean the entire world wide web would literally swell up to the point where the entire internet as we know it would cease to exist.

I don’t feel hurt because I strengthened my ride with putting better quality components on it, and because I was just testing the abilities of those new components. I don’t think hurt is the word, I think you’re envious that I did this upgrade.

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Just for that comment, I'm going to take off my wheels so that no XB2 can be lower than mine. I wouldn't even need to replace the springs.

Seriously though, I dropped mine on Tanabe NF210's not so that I could take turns faster than anybody else

This IS sounding like VWVortex forums, haha...
Look, if you don't know why a xB should be lowered, then you never will. People mod for different reasons, but for many of us the fact that a boxy people mover can be slammed and look bada$$ in the entire point. Who cares if a tC is lowered? it's expected. So much cooler to do it when it's unexpected. And if you can make it carve corners like a more sporting machine, then that's a bonus.
Case in point-

Oh boy. A buddy of mine gave me a Japanese magazine called, "style wagon club" IIRC. It's so rad. So much cool stuff we don't have here in the states.
And I'm the kind of person that thinks JDM stuff is played out...

Either way it doesn't matter. This thread was started to ask about any problems associated with lowering, NOT about "I want to lower my xB so it handles like it's on rails". That's pretty much all your first post was about, how it's retarded to lower an xB when it's not a sporty vehicle and that it's pointless to lower a xB for performance reasons. That had nothing to do with the OP.
A mod should just lock it already.
Oh and slammed boxy cars FTW!
