Thanks those of you who looked! K-sports are worth the $$$
Easy tiger. purely stating my own opinion. If everybody had to start a new thread everytime they had a difference of opinion from the thread starter, the internet would blow up. I mean the entire world wide web would literally swell up to the point where the entire internet as we know it would cease to exist.

So don't feel hurt that I think lowering an XB2 for performance isn't the brightest idea.

If you want looks, fine, I'm not hating. Everyone is different.

Yeah opinions are like _______s I guess, like that old saying goes.

I don’t feel hurt because I strengthened my ride with putting better quality components on it, and because I was just testing the abilities of those new components. I don’t think hurt is the word, I think you’re envious that I did this upgrade.

LMAO...

That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Just for that comment, I'm going to take off my wheels so that no XB2 can be lower than mine. I wouldn't even need to replace the springs.

IT'S A TIE!!

Seriously though, I dropped mine on Tanabe NF210's not so that I could take turns faster than anybody else but so that it would ride better (far more comfortable and forgiving over small bumps and freeway expansion joints) than stock, and be more safe driving through turns due to the lower center of gravity. When I say it handles better, I don't simply mean because I can take any given turn at a higher speed than being on stock springs... although I must say that I can, and it's damn fun!

We could throw this around for days... Someone could say Daihatsu, then someone says Geo, etc, etc... Let put the horse to rest before there is any more blood shed.

I was going to say Daihatsu, but I couldn't remember how to spell it...

This IS sounding like VWVortex forums, haha...

Look, if you don't know why a xB should be lowered, then you never will. People mod for different reasons, but for many of us the fact that a boxy people mover can be slammed and look bada$$ in the entire point. Who cares if a tC is lowered? it's expected. So much cooler to do it when it's unexpected. And if you can make it carve corners like a more sporting machine, then that's a bonus.

Case in point-

Oh boy. A buddy of mine gave me a Japanese magazine called, "style wagon club" IIRC. It's so rad. So much cool stuff we don't have here in the states.

And I'm the kind of person that thinks JDM stuff is played out...

Case in point? That's about the DUMBEST thing I've seen. If you drive ANY of those cars in LA, just about everything is going to be torn out from underneath. You don't have to lecture me about how everybody is different. We've already gone over this. But thanks for beating this thread with a stick.

Because this place is so similar to the Vortex I'm not on here as much as I could be... This place is going straight to where the vortex presently is, the s**ter!

Aside from the first one, which really isn't all that low, I would bet most are on bags. And most scions that are dropped to the point they'd get ripped apart, are on air also. Even if not, if you drive carefully, even slammed you can avoid destroying your car.

Either way it doesn't matter. This thread was started to ask about any problems associated with lowering, NOT about "I want to lower my xB so it handles like it's on rails". That's pretty much all your first post was about, how it's retarded to lower an xB when it's not a sporty vehicle and that it's pointless to lower a xB for performance reasons. That had nothing to do with the OP.

A mod should just lock it already.

Oh and slammed boxy cars FTW!
