Default Question about Ranode top hats

I saw them on his website. And I wondered for those of you running his stuff and might be using them. How much lower does it make a difference, 1/2 inch or less or as much as 3/4 inch lower than the stock top hats?

Look at the OEM top hats and how tall they are. Then look how thin Randode's are. They'll bring the front down a good 3/4". I've never used them, but a buddy with a first gen is currently using them. They brought him down that extra little bit.

3/4 of an inch is good. I will have to look at getting those later then. I like the stance of mine in the rear, but the front needs to be a tiny bit lower. I will always love the way yours sits, severed, looking at getting some new wheels when these tires are worn out. And I am still stuck on 19 or 18, but I wanna sit similar to your stance.

You can certainly get lower with 18s, but I love how 19s fill up the wheel well.

If you need any advice, you know I'm here. I've been considering selling my wheels, but I haven't found anything that I like well enough and fits in my budget.

Love your wheels, but I think I am going to go with some deep lips and go stanced/ VIP look. And I think I am going to go with white wheels, the more rides I see with white wheels on red paint make me drool.

No problem man. Wish I could've used them on my airlift struts. Sadly they don't work. I could be completely wrong but I swear randode told me they give an inch and a half of drop. Like I said I could be wrong so take that with a grain of salt.

Well, thanks to Jetas, I did buy his extra set. And here is an initial verdict. Nice product. It would be nicer if you could use the stock nuts for the mounting bolts that bolt the plates to the body. The spherical bearing is nice, but it definitely seems designed to fit his strut bolts. So trying to fit them onto my Tein coilovers is gonna take some kind of bolt shim. It is an ever so slight difference but when I first drove with them you could hear the clunking sounds of the bolt moving around in that gap. Like a crazy person I removed one of the locking spinners to get me a bit lower, and I am kind of looking forward to put it back in once I get the top hat mounted correctly. I did see a drop of about 3/4 of an inch maybe more. But I raised it up about half that so the ride height in the front is about 1/4 to 1/3 of an inch lower than the rear. With the tires I have on now it rubs like crazy even at that height. But at least the front tire looks about evenly tucked as the rear tire does. Previously it didn't even though the ride height before the Ranode top hats, was exactly the same.
