Default rear wheel feathering

Hello i need experts to tell me is it true you cant align your rear wheels on my 2008 scion xb i have 19.8,5 rear wheels with 245.40 as the tires by falken my tires are feathering on the inside how can i fix that? if not my tires are already making that road noise . help anyone?

Your timing is perfect, I just returned from vacation and haven't had internet access for 5 days.

Nope, stock rear suspension is fixed... no adjustments available.

Only the front toe is adjustable, unless you get the Eibach front camber bolts.

ok so my tires will be messed up all that thump thump shoot then i cant have my wheels on them?

so that will stop the feathering then to get the bolts and new tires for the rear how much do those bolts run?

The camber bolts are only available for the front, and they're $29 a pair from TireRack (bottom of the page).

You're SOL for the non-adjustable rear, unless you can find some custom camber plates.

I know on the xd the rear alignment is adjusted by placing shims between the hub and axel assembly but it is a pita to do. I can't see why this wouldn't apply to the xB.

well so new tires will fun smooth then they start to feather ,, hmmm well that just sucks looks like ill be buying more tires,,,lol

Wait, i should probably read(i have a headache today but excuses are like a-holes...). Feathering means your toe is out of whack and you need to get it checked out. I just have uneven wear(the inner centimeter or so wears marginally faster).

cross rotating your tires more often helps with feathering.

but make sure your tires are not directional. If they are and you mount them backwords your gunna have fun when it rains.

well cant do any adjusting on the rear iam going to have to rotate the tires so there wont be any feathering , but ill need to purchase new ones for the rear , i need the same size as the front the back ones are to big to put on front .. thanks for you help guys.
