rough ride?
2007??? I'm guessing you mean 2008, since you're in the 2nd Gen Forum, and Scion didn't make a 2007 xB.
Here, read this for a better ride:

What do you mean by rough? Other than it being slightly bouncy, I think the ride is quite smooth. Any suspension mods you do will more than likely make it even more rough and stiff. I'd say upgrade the tires cause the stock ones aren't that great.

thanks for the info, just one question to CIONIDE,
if i do change the springs, to Tannebe, how "harsh" will the ride be over bigger potholes, speed bumps, gravel roads, etc??
do you think for a daily commuter, someone who wants a smoother ride, the benefits of these springs will outwiegh the bad?
thanks

I've only experienced benefits with the NF210's. I put them on when I had 6800 miles on my xB, and have driven another 5500 miles since then. I've hit some pot holes, and the occasional speed bump. Obviously pot holes are a shock to the suspension, but I haven't bottomed out the springs/shocks or scrapped at all.
I am also a heavy daily driver (500+ miles/week), and if I was only going to do one mod to my xB this would be it.
Buy 'em, install 'em, drive on 'em; and be oh so glad you did!

Cionide is right on. The ride with NF's installed is what it should've been like stock. It loses the harshness that the stock suspension has on bumps and stuff. Plus the benefit of reducing wheel gap and body roll. Totally worth it.
I love the ride quality of the nf210's it was actually Cioncide's post that convinced me to go nf210s...
What I didnt like about the stock ride was it felt like the xb floated and leaned too much when turning at a reasonable speed, wheel gap, and how much taller the rear is compared to the front.
The NF210's took care of all my complaints without loosing comfort on the ride. You do hear the road a bit more and pothole and speed bumps are more noticeable... But you will have a better feel of the road. The car bounces less on rough stretches in the freeway too
