Default TRAC system on xB 2009

How do you turn off the TRAC system in a 2009 xB permanently ? I noticed when you turn fast with it on it will adjust the brake system for you and not allow you to accelerate fast. I have a manual RS 6.0 and it a big pain in the --- ? I push the TRAC button to off and then after I move for a little bit and turns on again.

Any help on this from anyone ?

Read your F'ing manual!

I know you already took care of this Drew, but it just blows my mind the # of people who buy a new car and don't read their GD manual! (P.S. Tell toaster I'm not really an a-hole, it just appears so at times).

End of rant.

Its tru def a major part of being an owner is makeing sure you know all the facts and what everthing does in you car. But he is a new seconed gen owner just got the whip back cause the dame dealer could not get the paint right after 3-weeks!! So i say we can give him a free pass this time. But next time its on like Donkey Kong!!!

My apologies toaster, it wasn't directed at you specifically, it just seems like so few people go to their manual first. Drew will tell you, I help out a lot on SL when I don't have a contemptuous hair up my you-know-what.

Hold down the VSC off button for 3 seconds while you are not moving. A second light will light up to let you know the VSC is completely off.

Happy to help.

Thanks Drew, but I def got a little carried away last night... no more posting on the boards after cocktails.

Yea, wheels are coming soon, either some JDM's if DiscountTireDirect can import the size & offset I want, or maybe a double stagger (diameter & width). Final decision is still up in the air.

BTW, notice how I edited the quote; that's how you do it so just the bare bones info you want to respond to is copied (without pictures or extra text).

can't someone just answer the fellow's question like this?

Why do people need to bash on new people so much?
