Default xb2 tenzo r lowering springs

well im looking to drop my 2010 xb and came across what i think is a great deal on these tenzo r gf2 lowering springs at only $69 brand new in box and in town. element wheels in town is clearancing them out and one of the models they have available is the xb2. so i picked them up i figure worse case i could resell them but given the fact that i have a newborn and money isnt plentiful right now a good lowering spring at this price would be a god send. my question is does anyone have these? how is the ride? drop? the ad says 1.6" drop front and 2" drop rear i have 17x8 wheels with a 35mm offset and 55 series tire, will they rub? any input is greatly appreciated i have searched for days and the closest thing i found them on was a xb1 but have even rear reviews on cobalts and srt-4's just to get input. thanks in advance

You didn't give your full tire specs, and the drop specs didn't show up correctly, but I would guess that just about any 55 series 17" tire on a lowered xB2 would rub.

As far as the Tenzo springs, you could be the first xB2 guinea pig on ScionLife:

Usually you should ask these type of questions before you purchase, but oh well.

I'll chime in on this one. I was running Sprint springs and they quoted 2" at all four corners. After sag I was seeing more like 2.3 up front and 2.5 in the rear. In the beginning I was riding on some 17x7 +40 offset with 55 series tires. Absolutely NO rubbing occurred with that set up. When I went Plus 2 with 18x7.5 +44 with 40 series tires, I rubbed under extreme cornering while turning the wheels. You should be fine, as long as the Tenzo specs are accurate and they don't sag too much...
