16" wheel thread!!!!!!!!!!!!
I bought a set of crown vic meshies last year, the front's poke way too much for being a 7'' wide wheel. If they poked the same and was an 8'' wide wheel, it would be easier to find a tire size to stretch on the rim, but the 7'' doesn't really give you an option to stretch.
Also, if I remember correctly, when I test fit the rims on the front, I was having major clearance issue in regards to the rim hitting the caliper...
Here's an idea of how the fronts would look...

Anyways...I took these to Atlanta yesterday to get redrilled...picking them up on Friday, hopefully have them mounted up, with fenders rolled/pulled, and spacer installed on the rear in the next 2-3 weeks, depending on finances...

Specs are 16x9.5'' +38 all around, w/15mm spacer on rear, 205/55/16's all around...

New to the xB scene and ready to put new shoes on the 2011 we got last friday. This is the wife's/family car. I am staying with 16s for the ride on the stock tires. Want to get the rims before the NF springs. BTW Tirerack.com lets you view what they have in stock on the xB... you can even select the color of your vehicle.
Looking for stock wdith and offset so I don't order something that won't fit or rub with the NF springs installed.
Thanks,
Rob

^^^^So jealous
I love those rims!!
I've also been thinking of a new project...widening my stock steelies 2.5'' inches.
Final specs would be 16x8.5'' +45 with stock 205/55/16 tires and have them all powdercoated flat black... I think it would look good. In the process of finding a place to do them for the right price...

We decided to stick with the stock tires for now, debating on a wheel for our new XB. Should we go Chrome, Silver, black with chrome lip(Right) or Gray with chrome lip(Left)
What would you do?? Suggestions
Car will be lowered on trd spring later this month......

Don't go with chrome; it weighs a lot (lower mpg on a 4-banger), and really only belongs on luxery cars, classic cars, old American muscle cars, or a black xB with a lot of other chrome to compliment it.
I have the same RS 8 and I decide to keep the car looking OEM and I waiting for my 16” 5 spoke Scion rims that will use the same tires. I am not lowering the car because I live in NJ and the roads are very bad here.
sorry dont mean to thread jack.... but living in NJ as well and from my exp been lowered on Eibach Sportlines for 2 yrs now and 0 issues also some of our NJ members are lowered on Tanabe DF's and no issues as well....depending on what part you live in maybe we will cross paths soon

No problem I understand, I have my 2000 Si drop but I guess is me that want to keep the xB2 looking stock. I am still waiting for the dealer to confirm my 16” rims. By the way I love the xB2 is a lot of fun to drive.

I'm running 16x7 MB Drifters on my '08 and I hate them. They're about two years old and they're already pitted and look like crap. I'd love to find some 16x8 or wider, but I can't find any, really. I'd prefer black so I can paint the inner lip red to contrast, but I could always paint or powder coat em. But can anyone point me in the right direction? I attached a picture of my current set up, but it isn't quite as low as it is in these shots. Colorado winters...

So you want new rims? Why don’t you have the ones you have painted professionally? I don’t know about you. But I am waiting for my OEM xB2 16” alloy wheels from Toyota. But is taking forever because they are made/coming from Japan. And I already did the aftermarket shopping and all are made in China I am talking between $400.00 to $800.00 prices.
