i need to get some new tires for the xb. where do you guys go online? i used to shop at edgeracing but they shut down. price is a factor guys.

Tire rack has some slightly lower prices but you pay for shipping. DTD has slightly higher prices, but free shipping. You have to compare.

Holy crap! Those are not cheap. I checked on the RE-11s and they want about $20 more than Tirerack. Per tire. And $17 more on the Z1 Star Specs from Dunlop.

I don't know that I would go so far as to say "AVOID", but it is obvious that you should compare pricing at various online sites. Different sites can have better prices on some tires, and worse prices on others. When I was shopping for Falkens, tires-easy had prices about 10% cheaper than DiscountTireDirect, and TireRack doesn't carry them. Just do your homework... if one site had the best prices on all tires, they would be the only company in business.

 

True, just start from the tire you want, and go from there.

 

Yeah, all of those sites definitely have good prices but for the tires I want (Z1's) TireRack seems to be the cheapest.

Never ordered from them but they are like the 2nd biggest seller compared to Tirerack so Im sure you wont have any problems with service.

 

I think you're talking about DiscountTireDirect.com which is not the same as discounttires.com.

 

btw, my tires got here 2 days after i ordered them. lightning fast shipping.

The recession claimed another victim; it happened quite a few months ago.

 

i miss edge racing , i got my rims and tire from them before. Great people to work with.

 

Pick you tire then check price and availability at the major sites listed. Those listed are all decent companies with no major problems. Personally I lean toward Tirerack.com...

 

I'm gonna get my wheels from tirerack.com and my tires from discounttire.com because tirerack.com doesn't carry Falkens.
