Default Brake time ?

Almost 35,000 km or 20,000 miles on my XB . When did anyone do their first brake job . My 19's must be hard on the front pads . If and when I need them maybe I'll go for Stop Tech pads. Heard that the TRD are junk .

I just added new rotors and pads from R1 concepts. The econo cross drilled and slotted and then the posi quiet pads. I was tempted to go with stop tech but wanted to save a few bucks. All works great now. The previous owner put the wrong pads on and they gouged the stock rotors. How can you not know that semi-metallic pad aren't made for he XB...lol

What in the f.ck are you doing with GTI wheels? And what did you do to get 5x112's on there? These knock offs?

Haha.....I bought them off my coworker when he got wheels for his GTI. And they make these cool things called adapters so I could mount them to my XB.
You'd be surprised at all the thumbs up I have received for running them. I had them on my my white Xb and now they are on my red, which I think looks better cause they pop better with the red paint.

Yeah guy, I know what adaptors are, but it is very difficult to find 5x112 to 5x100 adaptors, so i figured it would be the other way around too, 5x114 to 5x112. I haven't seen any of the 12 to 10 ones so that's why I said that. I still run my saw blades on my GTI. I think they look good. Post a good side picture of your xB. I'm sure it looks pretty good. It is quite a fitting wheel for the xB2.

Yeah, there is a company in Nevada that will make basically any adapter you need, that's where I got my front ones, the rear where from another place online and they have a huge catalog of available adapters too. Finding the 5x114 - 5x112 was actually easy.
Here is a pic from the beach last week.

I'm running Porterfield R4S pads and they seem to be performing quite well.

Yeah that looks really really good. The bubbliness of the xB2 really goes with the round bubbliness of the sawblades. But I don't feel good about it because it's a rip off of VW style. xB2's rip off Lexus's, so be it, but a GTI... there's nothing else like it and that's the only place they belong.
