Default Buying Used Wheels

If I was looking for used rims is there anything I can do to check the condition off them, besides the obvious of looking for knicks and bends?

Something you definitely want to look for is cracks, or spot welds from holes/cracks. We see it on a regular basis. Bends as well, but sometimes they are hard to see a)without a tire on it b)unless you put it on a balancer. Sometimes the barrel's bent and those are really hard to catch with your eye....
