Gram Lights come in a variety of styles, with differing weights; anything in particular you're interested in?

Personally, I like these in 18x7.5 +43 offset @ 20.5# each:

i am still waiting for someone to put some of these in WHITE on their SW XB. I noticed that tirerack doesn't offer any 16 inch gram lights, but thats what i would get. The reason is; with wheels that light gas mileage would go up and breaking would be better. I don't care as much about cornering that a larger wheel would offer. But i could probably live with 17's.

cionide, i like those rims too, i guess im worried bout weight, the 57 optimise is a lb lighter, i guess im trying to stay close to stock weight as possible, id prefer the 57 maximum style better than the optimise tho

You've mentioned slower acceleration & steering response, and ride comfort as factors for looking at new wheels and tires. A lighter 18" wheel will only address a portion of your issues. I like the look of 18's, but maybe you should consider dropping to 17's to solve all your problems. The 57Maximum in 17x7 +43 is only 17.5 lbs. and would take a 225/45-17 tire that will be lighter than your current 235/40-18's. If you really like the looks of the 235 wide tires, you could go with the 57Maximum in 17x8 +43 @ 19 lbs. with 235/45-17 tires (a little heavier tire & wheel overall, but still a lot lighter than what you're running now).

Your gf will also like the ride a lot better with a set of Tanabe NF210 springs.

i posted my rims up to see if i can sell em, no luck so far, i love the looks of it but yah the weight is a factor, i can live with the ride, but if i can sell em, i can save for other lighter rims, seems like the tire i have now, the bf goodrich g force all seasons is a very good tire from reviews, i was looking for something lighter and i was looking at the yokohama s drives, but wondering if the summer tire s drives ride rougher or more comfortable than the all season g force, the s drives r 2 lbs lighter though
