Default how to get hubcentric ring unstuck from hub?

So I've had these spacers for a while and I finally got a chance to try and install them. It turns out that the plastic hub rings I used for my rims are stuck to the hubs. I need to get them off in order to put the spacers on.

Will some PB blaster or liquid wrench loosen them? I'm tempted to just break them off and get new spacers. Any tips?

Yeah , thanks... I shouldn't have even asked the question. New rings are like $10 and it would just be a PITA to try and get the old ones off. I'm ordering some new rings right now.

I don't own a Sawzall but if I got one I could start with the hub rings. Then I could cut a new hole for the 'missing' backup light. Maybe even a homemade short ram intake using the stock air box. I wonder if it can fix my B-pillar click...

Sawzall will fix ANYTHING, bro! Toothache? Sawzall. Wife/girlfriend/mistress left you? Sawzall. You need a new "do" for the big date? Sawzall.

You could try some DP Blast. It's a penetrating lubricant. I'd be iffy and super careful not to get any on your brakes, even though you can clean them afterwards.

I'm not sure the sawzall is the tool for this project... Try This!

Ooohhh carry em all??? I may have to see if I can get a deal on that new Craftsman Hatchback in the Ricer thread!

Anyone seen this on sale at your local K-Mart yet??? I was hoping for them to sell it in Craftsman red, with Black Handles...

Nice!

On a slightly more serious note, perhaps one of these might work?

Just a thought.
