Looking for New Wheels
Hey guys, I've lurked around these forums for a while, and posted here and there. But I'm finally looking in to getting wheels for my xB. It's an 09, its currently all stock. This is where it gets tricky. I'm really new to car mods and upgrades, so I have no idea what all the numbers are about except your basic tire size and wheel size. I don't really have a clue about the offsets and drops and what not.
I would like to go with 17's and have them flush with the body. I just don't know what spacers or what not I would need to go with.
Thanks,
sdXB

At least give us some hints on budget, style etc.. If you want flush you will need to do suspension mods first or later. We can't help you at all if we can't get some preliminary info from you. There is just too much to choose from.
Personally I do not like running spacers, but if you must, get hub-centric spacers. These are generally used to "push" the wheels out. Keep in mind these also puts stress on your suspension components, wheel studs etc. Also if you get some wheels with low offsets you may not need them.

Do you like 6 spoke designs? Mesh?
Here's my xb on 17's for reference. I run kumho ecsta 4x's in 215/45/17.
If your front wheels are dead flush, a set of 15mm spacers in the rear will make the rears flush as well. I would recommend a set of ichiba v2 spacers for safety. I am NOT runng spacers, but it would make the rear perfectly flush if i did.
