Default Lowest Rotating Mass ???

What is the lightest wheel and tire combo you have seen for the xB2?

I found myself looking at lighter wheels and tires today. I could do even 18's at as little as 37 pounds each. That would be about 5 pounds per wheel lighter than stock steelies. Anybody got 18's that the wheel and tire combo is lighter than 37 pounds each?

You shouldn't concentrate on only rotating mass... Rotational inertia is the enemy here, and mass is only a portion of the formula. It is actually possible for a smaller, heavier wheel put more power to the ground than a larger lighter wheel.

Rotational inertia is a function of mass and radius (and the larger the wheel is, the greater the amount of weight is on the furthers radii.

No boss, sorry.

In searching recently since I'm planning on going with 18's (18x7.5) I've put this together as a loose guideline, hope it helps.

Tire: 225/40R18 - Avg of 23lbs. Range 21-25.

What size rim/tire combo are you looking for and I'll look for it as best I can.

Nah don't spend any time on it. I have a pretty good idea what tires I'm interested in using. I am doing a couple of trips on the stock tires in the next couple of weeks that will tell me if the change is worth it.
Thanks for the help.
