I hear ya nebster, there's no reason to attack me and my hole.

1. I know Axis are cast wheels, and that forged are FAR superior, but most xB owners will never put the stresses on their vehicles that forged wheels are made to withstand, or need the strength and ultra-light weight benefits that forged wheels offer a car that is used for high performance driving. Most xB owners (and I know not all) are simply looking for a nice looking wheel to compliment their vehicle's color and style, as well as their own personal taste.

2. I absolutely agree; a $500 cast wheel is bulls#1+! Misunderstanding over.

3. If the OP was looking for wheels for a fully built turbo-charged sports car, I wouldn't recommend cast wheels either, but that's not the case here.

I hope we've gotten that all settled; it's all good in the hood.

Aside from price (they were $1160) what did you think about the Axis Black Super Hiro's?

Where they along the lines of what you're looking for?

What did you like or not like about them?

Glad you liked them. Check out the links I posted if you haven't already. When you order the wheels, you specify what color pinstripe you want (they actually have 8 colors available), and whether you want it 6mm wide or 10mm wide; it is put on by Axis before they ship them out to their distributors. BuyWheelsToday was the cheapest I found, they were the $290 link I posted. The picture I put up has the 10mm stripe, since I thought that would stand out on the wheel best. If you want the pinstripe much more subtle, you can specify the smaller 6mm stripe.

1010Tires also sells them for $290 each:

I'd go with whoever has cheaper shipping, but whatever you do, be careful to make sure you order the correct size pinstripe you want.
