I'll be getting new tires soon too and have been very interested in the Yokohama AVID ENVigor.

I'm at 20K miles with the stock tires on Enkei 16's.

My Bridgestones are wore out at 18,253 miles don't any body bother buying them.

I'm leaning towards Goodyear egle RS_A

The Bridgestones have a harder rubber compound for the tread than the RS-A's, so I would expect the RS-A's to wear out even faster. I don't know how or where you drive, but I got 42k miles on my RS-A's before I put on new tires & wheels. A good friend of mine got over 60k miles on his Bridgestones. (Both tires came as OEM on the 2008, but you didn't get a choice, whichever tires were on the car from the factory is what you got.)

Those RS-A's wear out super fast and also have horrible traction in all conditions... Id look into Continental DWS, Potenza RE960 AS, or even some Kumho all season tires.

After 3 or so months of doing "RESEARCH" on tirerack and scionlife, i decided to pick up a set of Bridgestone Potenza 960 A/S pole position on 215/45/17.

My friend also has a set for about a little over 30k so far and they still look really good tread wise for the way he drives. I would highly recommend these.

Just my .02 cents.

I drive in town almost always smooth streets, I kept the tire pressure as per manufacture specs.
No passengers just me.
I did get some new tires today Yokohama's we'll see how they do ,I can say this they are smooth and make no noise like the Bridgestones and my front end noise is gone.

My guess is that means that they are made from a softer rubber compound and will wear out even faster than the Bridgestones, which are one of the longest wearing tires available. I truly hope you enjoy them, but don't expect 40k miles out of them. If nothing else, they should ride and handle a lot better than the Bridgestones. Buena suerte, as your neighbors to the south say.

What you purchase is all up to you. Honestly, it's entirely subjective.

I have about 70,000miles on my car. I've went through 2 sets of the Goodyear RS-A's, Toyo Proxes4's, and still on some Nankangs on my TRD 19's. The Nankangs are about done, though...

Next set of tires I purchase will probably be some relatively inexpensive tires with an actual treadwear warranty.

Severed, how did you like your Nankang, tires, noise, and smoothness related issues at all?
