Dunlop dirrezza dz101, size 225/45. Tires seem good so far. I wanted the bfgoodrich kdw tires also but too expensive for me and all the miles I'm putting on my car (28000 and counting)

Default want the perfect look

Ok I just installed the NF210 springs and want to get the perfect look with 17's but still want to be able to rotate. So, how thick of a spacer will I need in the rear if I go with 17x8's and what is the widest tire that will fit without rubbing? Also what is the best spacer and where can i get it? And what is best offset?I guess I forgot to define the perfect look for me: clean with the wheels flush to the fender and tires tucked in real nice.

Normally I tell someone to find the wheels they like first, then see what offsets are available, and figure out the tires from there. You also listed some desires that are not quite in line with each other - you reference wanting the widest tires, most flush wheels, but tires tucked in.

To try and best cover all your desires with a 17x8 wheel (and work with the NF drop), I would say 235/45-17 tires, 15mm rear spacers (always the best to match the front flushness with the same size wheels at all 4 corners), and +40 offset. Any offset in the +40 to +45 range will look great, but +40 would be the most flush while still tucking the tires a little and no rubbing.

What wheels (or style of wheels) are you looking at?

The wheels are the Kosei K1 TS offset 45. Any less offset would require me to go with the 17x7's +42 or +36. I like the wheels because they are light. There are wheels I like better but they are heavy. Any ideas on a fairly light wheel with an offset at 40?

Stick with the wheels you've found, they'll be in from the fenders less than 1/4" compared to +40 offset. That's why I said anything in the +40 to +45 range would be great.

Those Kosei's are definitely the lightest wheel for the price.

Place your order, and "Get 'er done!"
