The OFFICIAL 18" Wheel Thread.... Let's see them
I don't know what your wheel specs or drop are, but be careful with rubbing. I'm on NF springs, and I rub in back if I have passengers, heavy cargo, or drive through cloverleaf interchanges aggressively.
i am running 18x7.5 42 mm with 235/40/18 sits flush as i want to get , may even rub. then i want to run245/40 in the rear with the same wheels 235 were inset like a .5 inch maybe .75
245's are wider than I would want on a 7.5" wide wheel, and changing tire size alone won't bring the wheel out any more flush with the fenders. You might consider 15mm rear spacers, and keeping the same tire/wheel combo at all 4 corners so that you can rotate. Also, you didn't mention any drop, which could also play into whether you might rub or not with either wider tires or lower offset (spacers).
Thanks to all who have helped me out with the decision making on this process... Here are the pics finally!

Best of all, no rubbing, no need to roll fenders.
