Unhappy Recently Bought New Rims w/ tires. Need Help

Hi there, So just recently my friend gave me his used rims including the tires today and had them put on. But the outcome on putting these these rims/wheels my car shakes goin over 60mph.

He had these rims on his nissan. But i'm starting to think maybe these rims aren't for my xB or could be out of balance. With the stock tires it ride perfectly fine. But once I put these on it shakes my entire car. o.O

what could possibly be the problem. Please help. advice?

the wheels are 17x8 with 225/50 tires and bolt pattern is changeable between 5x112 and 5x114.

You either need your buddy's wheels properly balanced, and/or hub centric rings from whatever their hub bore diameter to the nominal 60.1mm (aka 60.06) of your box.
ESMwheels.com sells aluminum rings for only $25/set of 4.

What he said. But other possibilities would be a bent wheel(which a good balance can't always fix) or a bad tire. Most likely it just needs to be rebalanced. Try swapping the ones you had on the front with the rears.

Thumbs up

Guess what guys, they were awfully off balance. Took it to the shop and bought new tires for them and have them balance. Now the car don't shake like crazy. But it does vibrate a tiny bit. All I need is to get the hub centric rings and I'll be set now. Thanks guys for replying (:

I got them balance and bought new tires for them. The car now rides smooth. Except I'm not used to them driving yet lol. But I took it to the shop they said that it might vibrate a lil tiny bit cause all I'm missing the hub centric rings. But the shop said that they gonna order some and hit me up sometime later this week. Hopefully It'll be safe when i drive to SF sunday night x___X but thank you so much for helping me. Here's a fuul image on how the wheels look.
