Did you put gasoline stabilizer in the tank before putting it in storage?

The problem is the gas in the tank can start turning into shelac, which can in turn clog the fuel injectors. That's why boat owners use it when they put their boats up for the winter. You can get it at any marine supply store, and it's only about $10 for a bottle that will treat around 20 gallons of gas. Depending on the amount of gas in the tank, the type of gas (regular vs. E85), and the temperature swings where your car is stored, you might be fine for a few months but $10 is cheap insurance.
