Default Whatcha think of these wheels?

i'm looking to get a little smoother ride and increase my gas mileage a little bit, and i've been trying to get some gold wheels i like and i think i may have found them. i'm thinking 17x7 with a +30 offset. not 100% sure of the tire size yet.

Looks good, and not something I've ever seen before.

A great find at $99 each, but where did you come up with the +30 offset for 17x7?
I've checked around, and can only find the 17x7 with a +48 offset.

i found it on an ebay sellers page. i asked what sizes he had available and price but he has a list of sizes and offsets on his auction. i'm just hoping it's not an error.

If you're talking about seller sgmotoring that has the following posted:

Available in size: 15x5.5, 16x6.5, 17x7, 17x8.5, 18x7, 18x8.5 and 19x8.5
Available in offset: +30, +35, +43, +48.

Be aware that all the wheel sizes are available, but not in every offset that is listed (or even the 5x114.3 lug pattern).

Check this listing for the various combinations:
http://www.1010tires.com/wheel.asp?w...del=518+-+Gold

17x7 +48 offset will allow 215/50-17 tires for that nice smooth ride you want. Then you can use 15mm rear spacers to push them out and match the front wheels. You'll still be in from the edge of the fenders a little bit, but at least they'll match front & rear.

yikes. that +48 on the 17x7 is a deal breaker. doesn't make sense to put spacers front and rear to get the stance i want. thanks for the help cionide.

why would spacers be a deal breaker? Those wheels are really light! I have been looking for something like them for a long time. The Ray's Time Attacks are alot more. I'm just curious if they are made cheaply and that's why they are so cheap.

not a weight issue. i'd rather wait and get a set of wheels that fit exactly how i want without having to use spacers all around.
