Default Wheel help before buying.

i dont go on this part of scionlife to much so im asking this question to the wheel gurus of the scion xb wheel threads. so my friend is going to buy some rims for his 2009 scion xb.. the spec on the rims are 18x8 all around with +35 offset and hes dropped on tanabe NF's. will he rub with with set up? if so how could he fix that problem, i know maybe rolling the fenders will help also and stretching the tires so what size tires would you recommend for stretching? also he wants to go lower with maybe DF's. so how could he achieve this fitment? I did search but havnt found answer.

sorry for a lot of questions. just want to make sure that he can run this set up before he buys the rims.

thank you guys again.

With the NF springs, and those wheel specs, he'll be completely fine with 225/40-18 tires.

Depending on which tires he goes with (some have wider tread than others), on DF springs the 225/40's might rub when fully loaded, but fender rolling would solve that. If he's definitely going to change out to the DF springs, and doesn't want to roll the fenders, then go with 215/40 tires.

The Guru has spoken.
