Wheel and tire combination to create an aggressive look ????
Yes, I've done some searching here but my iPad Pro seems really slow on this forum making it a bit of a challenge to search thru all the threads.
I'm a newbie so please be nice to me (hehe).
I just purchased a 2012 black XB, all completely stock.
What would be the best wheel and tire combination to raise my XB higher and give it more of a truck like aggressive look and more ground clearance without doing any mods to my stock suspension.
I'm thinking 18" wheels ?,,, but my knowledge of tire sizes and offset/backspace with FWD is kind of limited.
Sorry for the obviously dumb questions,,,, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Cheers, Davyo

youre not gonna get many replies, as you are wanting to do to your car exactly the opposite of everyone else....most lower these cars and put larger diameter wheels with skinnier tires....good luck though!

If you want to get it higher the best way would be to order the lift kit that Randall Randode West makes. It's a bolt in kit that will lift you 2" over stock. Then you'll have more room to work with in terms of tires and wheels. You can get a hold of him on Facebook.
Another good resource would be to use the Online Wheel and Tyre Fitment Calculator. Offset, Tyre Stretch and Speedo Error | Will They Fit website. This will let you input different wheel and tire specs and compare them to the stock set-up.
