it blocks 33% and allows 67%

is that still bright enough for nighttime driving with stock headlights?

i know the HIDs will blast through it, which is why im saving to get some...
i just have the darksmoke tint already and was wondering if i should go ahead and just put it on or wait until i get my HIDs?

seconded. don't blind yourself now, and then have to wait to be able to see at night.

 

I'm a fan of neither smoking headlights/taillights OR HID kits.

I'd seriously reconsider filtering out the light you need to see where you're driving, and i'm fairly sure it's illegal in every state.

 

well there are no tail light replacements in the aftermarket right now, so tail light tint is the next best thing. mine will be freshh.

we vent shaded my tails. three coats. there's a thread on it here somewhere...

 

i have tinted tails and head lights and even eyelids...do one coat and just see the light output...if u want darker then add more coats lol....o and if a cop pulls you over tell them the tint is on the inside..i do and i have blacked out tails

 

i had my headlights tinted and i have hid's, the light output sucked. i took the tint off and it is sooooo much better. if u want to get rid of all the chrome look on the headlights just get a set of eyelids or crack ur headlights open and paint the chrome black.

 

Tinted headlights can work but you need a 55 watt HID kit at least.
