RS's are very rare vehicle. As for the Scion comment as another dealer said Scion is a limited production run. Scion builds enough vehicles to last 15 days in inventory. Compare that to Say Corolla which was 60 day inventory now is 45 day Stock in hand. That is a hell of lot more Corollas to xD ratio.

So.... by any chance any1 got the price on a new/replacement rear bumper?? i dont have the VIN on me and dealership cant even pull up quote w/o it.... i know stock rear bumper is about $220 w/o paint

 

I would honestly guess the rear apron cost around the 1G area...

 

.... that sux... plus side insurance is covering it... but still... $300 deductible and 2-3 days w/o car (once parts get in)

tho i think price may be for all four(4) sections of lip... 1300+ and rear bumper cover 150'ish... plus paint for both i think...

 

Scions are pretty rare-So Cal just happens to have 9 million people there and many have more than one car. I have had my RS1 xD now for 10 years, 108,000 miles and it has been driven from coastal NC to LA 5 times and spent years of time in each place. I have seen 5 like mine out on the road and a couple others at shows. Nearly any other car in LA you will see dozens of the same car (year, make, model, color, trim) every day. Out in my town in NC, and yes we have a Rick Hendrick Toyota/Scion in our town, I have the only one of it's kind, and I had to special order it through another dealership because ours 'just couldn't find one'. I rarely see any xD's of any sort here, plenty of tC's and Toasters (still nothing like LA) and an iQ on rare occasion. On my drives coast to coast 2,840 miles in 4 days. I'm usually the only xD to be seen out there. 325i's are like butts, everyone has one.
