Hey guys, right now i have a strup exhaust on my xd but it feels kinda low to me so i wanna make the car a lil bit louder, i havent removed the resonator or anything else in the engine, only the intake i chnaged,,,, any ideas what can i do?

 

get a header....and some exhaust systems are louder then others.....

 

Simply delete the muffler don't just take it off at the flange because it is near the gas tank and will melt the gas tank. Straight pipe it from the resonators back.



Kinda hard to see but simply no muffler and its loud. Low rpm kinda like a Subaru and higher rpm raspy like a Toyota lol

 

I have a Tanabe touring medallion muffler and an rpm midpipe without cat and res... it's loud to say the least....

 

I have an Injen cold-air intake, a Weapon R header, and a header-back straight pipe with a vibrant glass-pack muffler. I had previously ran it with no muffler and only dual bully tips but that was making me deaf so I went to pepboys and got the muffler for about $90, $12 after i used a gift card.

 

wold the weapon r header fit our OEM mid pipe?

Yes, I originally had mine installed with the oem mid-pipe. Now I have a header-back straight pipe with a vibrant muffler

 

How does it sound straight piped. Been thinking about going straight pipe with just a muffler.

What about a used set of long tube headers nd cat-less midpipe for 440 shipped ;)

It sounds nice and sporty, not ricey or too loud, with a vibrant muffler on a 2 and 1/4 inch header-back straight pipe. I'd imagine you could also get a single 16" resonator and a magnaflow muffler and it would sound nice

 

get a wider mid pipe, I have one and actually it's for sale. Let me know if anyone is interested

 

Lol good luck. I've been trying. Might just throw it and get another midpipe with a cat on it. Cause I still got the headers sitting too lol
