Default Electrical issue

I was in the process of replacing the water pump on my 09 Scion xD automatic when I pulled the alternator forward to get it out of the way. The alternator arced. Earlier, I had reconnected the negative battery cable to open the doors and forgot to disconnect again.
The car starts fine, but I have no dash lights, no heater fan, no electric windows or doors, and all the warning indicators are on. Also I cannot move the shifter to put the car into gear. Is there a master fuse or relay that shuts down half of the electrical system in this case
or do I just go through the fuses one by one?

Looks like you've got to go through all the fuses. You may've shorted out the "head unit" from what I'm hearing, and that's gonna cost you dearly if true. If you're REALLY lucky, it may just be a half-dozen fuses shot. All this could've been prevented by just disconnecting your battery before working on the car. If you have the knowledge to replace the water pump, then you should know this.
