I think it'd be cheaper to trade in for one... unless you already have extensive work done on your current xD.

ive done an engine swap on my car but all the parts for auto to manual conversion minus the tranny alone is about a grand. honestly youre better off selling an auto xd and picking up a manual it's a lot of work... unless you mean swapping trannies with another car and keeping the same motor i dont think that's been done yet. my company has finished out 3s-gte engine swap for our xd

Just for kicks--- assuming you purchased items from the dealer at MSRP (main components listed... tons more needed)

Transaxle: $2214.
Shifter Assembly: $80.
Shifter Cables: $435. (WTH?!)
Clutch Pedal: $41.
Clutch Master Cyl: $99.
Brake Pedal: $61.
ECU for MT: $758.
Clutch Pressure Plate: $105.
Clutch Disc: $157.

Even if you found a 'totaled' manual xD, you would have to see which parts are still in good condition... plus labor to boot.

Not worth the trouble-- trade it in for a manual.

I think M2 spent almost as much as the cars value getting it in there and in working order to race it
