Will there be andy internals like a stroker kit or cams and even maybe a sheet metal intake manifold for the scion xd?

 

with a good demand, its possible.. but i dont think there is much when it comes to the xd.. If you are really serious of it though, you can go to known companies and have a custom internals done or you can do some retrofit from other cars and see what would work.. thats used to be the case when the tc was so new

 

id be interested in a group buy of custom forged internals if anyone else is

Atomic Speedware can make Scion XD Owners Stroker Kits. To do that just send them ur crankshaft and rods connected and pistons off the rods then the guys will ask what or how big you want to go for stroker kit. Since the motor is a 1.8 you can go from 1.8 to 2.0 or 2.2 all depends how big you can go that is safe with the crank journals. For camshafts Gude Performance can make us a N/A or Turbo Spec for the XD. As for the intake manifold look us John Marcella will make you an intake manifold to our or ur specifications. For the turbo kit get one custom made or wait for one to be for sale that was made for the car sold by a company like Dezod or TurboToyotas. For Axles Dont know yet

 

I wish there was a way I could start up a performance shop for all the cars that need product development. The only problem is that I need the funding but i dont want to take out loans though. Also since I am a young tuner i look out for other owners and look around and make phone calls to get answers too. Do you think you guys could help me out? For the axles Gator Racing can build axles to your specification and its their speciality too. They also sell products for other applications. This would be a good place to get axles made for the scion XD. please respond to what I have written and also about the performance shop as well please. Thank you.

There is just a very very small market for these kind of parts for the xD right now. Pair that with a struggling economy and people are scared to spend money, and manufacturers are even more scared to pour money into the R&D required for performance parts.
