I am not the owner of Wellesley Scion (the dealership), I am the Scion Sales Manager at Wellesley Scion...

I am the owner of my xD, which I bought before I started working for Wellesley Scion.

What brand and weight of oil are you using? How much are you losing? Mine is a '09, and I haven't had to top up at all. I ran the last OCI to 8,500 miles. I'm going to go 10,000 miles on this one. A good group IV (polyalpha-olefin based) true synthetic motor oil will reduce oil consumption in many engines... not to mention reducing overall wear significantly.

I believe our xD's have Daihatsu ECUs, though... not sure if the re-flash would be the same as for the Toyota ECUs in the Corolla and Matrix.

It is the same reflash, as I had it done in my xD many moons ago.
