Ticking sound..
I have a 2008 Scion with a ticking noise, sounds like a card in a bike wheel. I think it goes away at higher RPMs but the engine is also loud so I don’t want to confirm that.
At lower speeds it does get quicker/louder when accelerating. It has had coil packs changed, timing chain, head gasket, oil change, coolant flush. Oil levels and coolant levels are normal.
Some forums I read say normal valve sound whole, others say death. Lol. I tried to attach 2 videos.
