And I clarified it was the speed rating on tires he was trying. To sell me

Ask for proof in writing, or have them show you the code on their diagnostic machine.

Inform them tire pressure has nothing to do with your valvetrain, and read up on Magnuson-Moss; it's your best friend right now.

That's pretty lame of them. I mean, if your tire pressure was really low, then your engine would be working a little harder than normal, but that is a heck of a stretch of the imagination if they think that caused damage to your valve train.

A lot of dealerships will try anything to get out of paying for warranty work... Especially if the customer is young or a woman. Unfortunately it works most of the time. Just lo at the number of Dodge Durango owners who have paid for new engines. Those things were notorious for coking up the engine oil and clogging the oil pickup screen... Even while still under warranty.

so im gettinf a new motor in so i wont have my car till the end of next week hopefully
