Weapon-R Intake for the XD is Released

Nothing wrong with supporting good, reasonably priced products. I understand that WR is trying to cash in on the "first out" factor, but I'm not that impatient, sorry.
I'd pay $50 for a short ram - this still leaves a decent profit margin for the manufacturer and does not look like a ripoff to me.

Ok. The pretty picture says fly wheel (no idea what fly wheel is, but let's assume it's flywheel). So the gain is not at the wheels. If it's just a misprint, then does it mean that xD is making 120hp at the wheel with less than 5% drivetrain loss?
Then, how many runs were made to get that funny looking stock power graph with a dip at a perfect spot that will result in awesome gain for the intake?

I'm sorry, I call B.S. If moving the intake piping just that much caused a 15lbs/16hp increase, that's how Toyota would have done it. Those are some serious gains for such a little mod. On top of everything, that filter... I want to know how much dirt that is letting in. If it IS increasing power that much, then it's letting in more than just air...
If it does increase HP this much, I'm amazed and would like to know why Toyota chose not to move the intake even the slightest.

Our filter foam element is very thick and is not letting dirt in. Foam elements are great at flowing high CFM numbers, while filtering just as good as OEM filters.
You do know that the Baja desert racers use foam elements on their motors when they race in the desert. Here is a few pictures of one Baja racer using a foam filter. Now would they be using it in the desert if it wasn't a good filter element.
As you can tell in the picture the filter is surface dirty. Thats why we recommend checking the filter every oil change and cleaning if necessary depending on where and what condition the vehicle has been driven under.

A 10% gain on a 1.8 liter engine is reasonable.
Didn't the short ram intake gains from other manufacturers net atleast a 10% increase in horsepower on the first release of xBs and xAs?
So why would the Weapon*R intake results be false?

i don't know if you know how to read the dyno?
but it help a 15lbs/16hp increase
and that's a pretty good increase for a small mod.
what there talking about is how much dirt the filter gain.
because you know that we should gain more air than dirt
