Default AVIC D3 problems

hey sl,
i recently install the avic, and it has a few problems.
the tach/rpm etc feature on the avic doesn't seem to work it says "not available at this time"
another is that it the gps location is off.
any inputs?

Are you positive you hooked up everything correctly?

If the on screen tach isn't working, might want to double check your speed sensor wire is hooked up properly. I don't know which one it is on the xd, I've only needed it on the tc.

you could always tap it to the pink wire that's on the ac control panel thingy, but I think that's the speed sensor.
I though there was a tach input as well, check it out.

^This definitely. Mine had the same problems your's had and they all went away after I tapped it into the speed sensor wire.

oh okays.
i tapped into the speed sensor the one originally hooked to the orginal HU. i might tap into the one on the pass side.
but, i do get a a voltage and a "speed pulse"

also, my antenna is not working
:/
its like not moving, any way to fix that?

Which wire is the speed sensor for the xD? I'm getting a f90bt and self installing.

Id much appreciate it. Also, is the reverse wire down behind the kick panel in our xd like it is in the tc, and if so which one? Not sure if ill get the back up cam but just in case.
